Save the Date - Small Business Forum May 20 - send me your topic/speaker ideas!     3/5/2015

Dear Business Organization & Government Agency representatives:

Mark your calendars!  Wednesday, May 20 is the next Washington Small Business Forum, from 9am – noon.

We will be meeting face to face this time, at the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries’ offices in Tukwila.  More details and a flyer will be coming in mid-April.

As you know, the Small Business Forum is held twice each year normally in May and again in November or December.  It is structured so that we have several presentations on small business ‘hot topics’ and an informal roundtable where all participants of the forum have an opportunity to share programs and services to enhance the success of small business in Washington.

I’m looking for topics and speakers, so send me your ideas (whether it’s something your organization can present, or an idea for another topic/presenter we can consider), let me know as soon as possible.

The purpose of the Small Business Forum is to assemble representatives from business and industry organizations, along with representatives of various federal and state government agencies to hear a couple of short presentations on current hot topics, new legislation, etc.  And of course there will be time for each organization representative to bring up issues or discuss new products and services during the roundtable portion of the forum.

Thank you, Kari
