Reminder: Sign up to be an exhibitor at the Washington Small Business Fair (Biz Fair) - respond by 7     7/6/2016

Good afternoon, everyone –

If you are receiving this email, it means we have not yet seen your organization’s Biz Fair exhibitor registration come through yet. (see the letter below for instructions and the link to register)

If you did submit a registration application, please let me know – occasionally we have had agencies or organizations that cannot get their firewall to let the online application go through, or it may look to you like it went through, but I never receive the confirmation email.  If that is the case, I will probably ask you to just email me the information rather than try to do the online application again.

If your organization is not able to participate this year, please let me know that as well.

The brochures just arrived from the printer today, so we can send them to you to help publicize the fair!

Dear Washington Small Business Fair Exhibitor:

 

Your organization is cordially invited to participate in the Washington Small Business Fair (Biz Fair) to be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Renton Technical College. Biz Fair is an excellent opportunity to reach out to new and future business owners. This will be the 20th year of the Biz Fair, and we want your organization to participate and help us celebrate! 

If your organization would like to staff an exhibitor booth at the 2016 Biz Fair, please complete the following steps as soon as possible, but no later than July 22, 2016.

1.     Check your organization’s information on the Biz Fair website:

Visit the Exhibitor page at http://bizfair.org/exhibitors.htm, find your organization’s name and click on it (not on your organization’s web address, but on the name) to see how your description and information appears on the website. See if this information is still correct. 

2.     Complete our online application at http://www.bizfair.org/exhibitorform 

Fill out the required fields in the top section - EXHIBITOR CONTACT / BOOTH INFORMATION.

3.     Complete the BIZFAIR WEBSITE INFORMATION section:

If the website information you reviewed in step 1 is still current, you can hit “no” to the first two questions under this section and you are done!  If it’s not correct, then let us know what has changed by completing this section.

Again, please submit your completed application form as soon as possible, but no later than July 22, 2016.

Our website, www.bizfair.org, has information about this year's event, and as always, there are no charges for booths.  The exhibit hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and all exhibitors must keep their display up and booth staffed until 2:30 p.m.

We ask that exhibitors promote Biz Fair by distributing brochures advertising the event to clients, so be sure to note how many you would like on your application.  We would also appreciate exhibitors placing a link from their website to ours (http://www.bizfair.org/) to further advertise Biz Fair to customers, as well as posting information and links to Biz Fair on your organization’s Facebook page.  We also have a Facebook page for the Biz Fair, which you can find at www.facebook.com/BizFair. Please visit the page and “like” it for us.  A link to the Facebook page is on the main Biz Fair website.
