IRS Resources @ Your Fingertips: Get Ready for Tax Filing Season     12/8/2016

Good morning, Small Business Organizations & Government Agencies:

You aren’t seeing things – yes, this is my second email out to you all this week!

It’s that time of year when everyone is preparing for the holidays and … the tax season.  As part of this preparation, we are sending information you can distribute on how people can prepare for a successful tax filing season.  I’ve attached a document called IRS Resources @ Your Fingertips is tailored towards the Get Ready for Tax Filing Season campaign.

Information relating to this topic will provide guidance, hot topics and updates for you and your clients including:

·         Get Ready for Tax Filing Season – Take Steps Now

·         Changes to certain ITINs (Individual Tax Identification Number)

·         Refund Delays for EITC and ACTC

·         Validating electronically filed returns

Your organization can also help by participating in a Thunderclap campaign that will happen on December 13. If you have a Twitter, Facebook or TUMBLR account, please take the time to join us by using your social media platforms to push out a message on December 13, 2016. That message will also automatically be shared with your social media followers and theirs as well. Think of it as a massive flash mob on social media. It is completely safe and will automatically post exactly one message on your own social media account.  Please take a few minutes and read the attached instructions on how to join!

Another way to spread the word … Tweeting.  Please copy and paste the tweets below and spread the word on social media!

Thank you!
