Timberworks - A flood resiliency and restoration plan for the cities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam

Community Open House
10/25/2016
Rotary Log Pavilion

The Cities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam will be hosting an open house for the general public on Tuesday, October 25th 2016 regarding the TimberWorks Resiliency & Restoration Master Plan.  The open house will be at 6:00pm at the Rotary Log Pavilion, 1401 Sargent Blvd, Aberdeen, WA 98520.

The TimberWorks Resiliency & Restoration Master Plan will propose projects to reduce flood risk, enhance fish habitat, and increase recreation and open space opportunities.  Since early 2016, consultants have been collecting data, performing preliminary analyses and meeting with community members. This Open House is an opportunity for community members to learn about the proposed projects and provide feedback for prioritizing implementation.  This will be the last opportunity that community members have to provide feedback on proposed projects before the Master Plan and implementation strategy are finalized.
