On January 16, 2017, Washington State's Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB) received a letter from Governor Inslee asking them to form a work group to address the root causes of the lack of affordable housing in our state. Initial recommendations are due to the governor by June 1, 2017. A broad group was formed which includes AHAB members and other stakeholders. Six meetings were scheduled:
March 7 - 3:00 - 5:00 in Tacoma
March 16 1:00 - 4:00 in Seattle
March 22 1:00 - 4:00 in Olympia
April 13 1:00 - 4:00 in Tacoma
April 27 1:00 - 4:00 in Olympia
May 19th - Final meeting with AHAB 1:00 - 4:00 in Seattle
