Curbs are being poured! (East Scott Avenue to be closed to eastbound traffic for a few weeks) 7/29/2015 Concrete curbs poured today! Interior roundabout and splitter island concrete work will be completed this week. Exterior curbs will be poured in a couple weeks after the interior curbs have adequate cure time without traffic. Paving is tentatively scheduled for the last week in August and will be done in the evening. The underground utility work is mostly complete now and should be finished by the end of next week. Starting today E. Scott will be closed to eastbound traffic at all times for at least the next few weeks. Traffic will be detoured onto Goerig. During the day traffic control will be routed around the area as needed to allow work to be done. Sometimes westbound SR 503 traffic will be detoured onto E. Scott Ave. to provide 2 way traffic. When contractor is not on-site SR 503 will have two traffic through the roundabout area. The contractor is doing their best to manage traffic control while also getting the work done as efficiently as possible.
