 Dear Property Owner;

Please take this opportunity to provide an “Advisory Vote to the Dayton City Council” regarding the future of the local Dayton Register(residential) Historic District.

The Dayton Historic Preservation Commission (Commission) and City held five workshops in February to discuss options for the future of the two local register residential historic districts and related historic preservation code amendments. The Commission has since concluded that this “Advisory Vote to the Dayton City Council” by you and your fellow district property owners is in the best interest of the City, Commission, and property owners.

Best regards,

 Michael Smith, Chairman, Dayton Historic Preservation Commission

 And, on behalf of the Dayton Historic Preservation Commissioners:                                                                                                                       Chrissy Talbott, Chairman, Pro Tem,   Ginny Butler,  Carole Anne Lane,  Jim McCary, Matt Zanger
