"The schedule is about a month behind as we received a Notice to Proceed about a month behind schedule.  We are in the modeling stages and preliminary report preparation of the project.  We have requested verification from the City of prior drainage patterns of the drainage area and are awaiting this information. However, we are proceeding with the modeling and report, and hope to have a preliminary report to submit to the City for review the...

The flood analysis project has completed the field work, drainage delineation and is now computer modeling the area.

Project sign has been placed on the south side of Oak St. near the ball field.  See sign here.
Cntracts is in place with the Engineering Firm of Gibson and Olson out of Longview, WA.  See scope of work here.
Prestart conference with Carol and the computer modeler for the project scope area has been held.
Surveyors will be in the Oakville area this week to conduct the field work.
5/13/2016  -  Project Website Set-Up   

Flood Authority authorized funding for the Oakville, GHC, WSDOT Flood Relief Analysis Project at their 4/21/2016 meeting based upon staff recommendation (see recommendation here).
