The EITE Industries Advisory Group is comprised of representatives of emissions-intensive, trade-exposed industries (‘EITEs’). They will provide input on a report to the Legislature related to the allocation of no-cost allowances to EITEs from 2035 to 2050. The group will provide feedback and information to inform the findings and recommendations in Ecology’s report to the Legislature. This group is expected to provide an industry- and facility-level perspective on EITE allocation policies under the Cap-and-Invest Program and implications for EITEs.
The meetings are open to the public to view and there is an opportunity to provide relevant public comment at the end of the meetings. Meeting agendas, presentations, and summaries are available below in the documents section.
